Malcolm Martin

Malcolm Martin has completed consultancy and training projects for a wide range of organisations since 1992. His focus is on industrial relations practices overlaid with competitive edge and general personnel issues. In this time he has also developed Certificate in Personnel Practice programmes for Manchester Open Learning and co-authored the highly successful, and practical, book: Personnel-Practice. His latest co-authored book is the The Management Pocketbook on Employment Law .  In addition to this, he brings to clients some 12 years experience in industrial relations gained within steel and manufacturing, some 4 years as a trainer and 7 years experience in Human Resources. He held middle management responsibilities for over fifteen years.

Jon Powell

Jon Powell has worked as an Operational Research Analyst for British Airways diagnosing business issues and more recently as a Project Manager supporting knowledge transfer activities at Lancaster University.

A graduate of Lancaster University, he specialises in 21st century management information systems and project delivery. As a director of Employer Solutions Limited, Jon is committed to its successful growth and development.

Kate Midgley

Kate Midgley MA, Chartered MCIPD

Kate completed her Masters degree in Personnel Management at Kingston University in 1996 after an initial career in international sales and marketing. She then spent two years working in consultancy and recruitment for a Search and Selection company in Central London, before moving on to six highly successful years as European Human Resources Manager at SC Johnson Ltd in Surrey.

Since 2004, working as an HR Consultant has added to Kate’s already substantial knowledge and experience in performance management, dispute resolution and recruitment & retention issues.

Brian Mizon

Brian Mizon B.A.(Hons.) Cert.Ed.  Chartered MCIPD, AMIEMA MCQI

Brian has over 20 years experience in a number of medium/large manufacturing industries, including paper, print and engineering in senior Human Resource roles with Health and safety and Management Systems responsibilities. His experience includes generalist H. R. disciplines, health and safety Management and training and development, plus training course design & delivery

Chris Munnery

Chris Munnery M.A., FCIPD, BSc (Hons)

Chris has a Post-graduate Diploma in Personnel Management from Leeds Business School, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and completed an MA in Strategic Human Resource Management at Kingston University in 2001. He also has specialist qualifications in Counselling and is qualified at BPS Level B in psychometric testing.

Les Frankish

Les Frankish has worked as an independent Consultant/Trainer since 1991, and actively involves himself in community responsibilities. Specialist areas, in which he has worked with clients, include Health and Safety, supervisory skills, employee relations and European issues.

2 years experience in recruitment with the motor industry and 4 years as a Personnel Manager in the chemical industry is supplemented with 16 years educating and training first line managers, personnel professionals and Trade Union officials.

Professional qualifications include Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a certificate in Industrial Relations with the Open University.
